poetry of mine

GREEN

They’re so green, His eyes; His eyes too.

So intense! Filled with smoldering heat,

For me.

My cheeks feel hot,

I’m blushing.

Shimmering with an extra innocence,

I smile shyly back at them.

They are both wearing it,

It drives me insane.

It blends in and sets with their eyes,

Creating a heavenly image.

They are my two angels,

What that makes me…I know not.

But…

We are….

Three hearts beating as one.

Thoughts

he hurt us all so very bad, and had the arrogance to assume he had a chance at forgiveness and redemption. Now my mind was in chaos; to think such arrogance existed threw me off such balance I couldn’t understand it. Anyhow, enough about that, the morning air was slightly chilled badly brisk, the lake coated in a cloud of mist. I could not help but wonder if it was just as silent below the surface just as it was above. If the creatures that dwelled beneath the surface suffered the same agonies people endured every day. Sure there was the whole predator-prey thing going on, but was it populations of different animals warring with each other about foolish things like valuables and expenses, a whole other world of conflicting emotions and unfought battles. Was there another wsoul like mine wondering the very same things? Finally the first glimpse of sunrise was in my view and I decided to return to my bed.
